PE, Forest School & Swimming:
Please ensure your child's PE kit is in school everyday. Your child will have the opportunity to take part in swimming lessons and forest school sessions each week, please take the time to familiarise yourself with the timetable on the website homepage.
Homework & Reading Records:
Each term we send home an activity grid containing optional tasks for pupils to complete at home with their families, the activities will be linked to our topic. This is followed up with a celebration assembly to showcase the amazing work competed at home!
Reading is the key to unlocking educational and lifetime opportunities. We really need your support with this and ask for you to read with your child at least five times a week. Please write down every time your child reads in their reading record and send this in to school with them daily.
KS2 school meals need to be ordered and payed for in advance via ParentPay, the school lunch menu is available on the homepage of our website. If you think you may be eligible for free school meals please speak to a member of the office team.
At Penryn Primary Academy we want to promote the health and well-being of the whole school community through all aspects of food and drink, physical activity and positive emotional health. In line with our healthy school policy we provide each child with a Penryn Primary Academy water bottle which is kept in school and cleaned and filled with water for your child.
We have worked hard to improve our children's knowledge and understanding of healthier choices. This year in KS2, we will be providing every child with a piece of fruit for snack at break time. No other breaktime snacks will be allowed within school.

Our Services allows schools to embed code which may potentially contain cookies. Please note embedded content, if displayed on one our websites, has been added by the school and not by eSchools. The embedded content added by the school may require additional cookies or tracking technologies to be enabled in order to function.
