Penryn Nursery serves the town of Penryn and its surrounding communities including Bissom, Lower Treluswell and the Bohelland and Glasney residential areas.
We provide expert school-based childcare in a caring and stimulating environment. Specifically designed for children aged 2 to 4 years, our nursery helps bridge the gap between pre-school and Reception Class, providing the very best of starts to your child’s learning journey.

We provide the children with opportunities to explore and learn through play as well as more focused experiences. Everything is designed to develop the essential social and learning skills children need when entering more formal learning at a later stage. We like to promote inquisitive minds and independent attitudes and have created a space in which children can thrive. The nursery is a large welcoming space, full of exciting and engaging equipment which is readily available for the children to access themselves.Â
We offer an expansive outdoor area which is fully enclosed and partially covered to allow access whatever the weather.Â
Flexible Nursery SessionsÂ
To suit your family's needs, we offer various session types at Penryn Nursery:
- Morning sessions 5 days a week: 8.45am-11.45am
- Afternoon sessions: 5 days a week: 12.15pm-3.15pm
- All-day session: 5 full days: 8:45 am - 2:45 pm with an option to extend the day until 3:15 pm at an additional charge
Children can be admitted to Penryn Nursery at any time during the school year but our usual intake is in September. Depending on numbers we may also take in the spring or summer.
